Luke Shaw did well on Raheem Sterling and came forward when he could

Fred 6 – Had his job cut and had to be careful after booking himself.

Scott McTominay 5.5 – Got close with an attempt in the first half, but the first player dropped out.

Paul Pogba 6 – A lot of effort but not enough produced for a player of his caliber.

Marcus Rashford 6.5 – Looked like United’s best bet for a breakthrough, but didn’t quite happen.

Bruno Fernandes 6 – Not his night. United’s talisman gave away possession too cheaply.

Zack Steffen 6.5 – Solid first derby and made a super save to knock out Fernandes attempt.

Joao Cancelo 7 – Managed to keep Pogba quiet and went close with great difficulty.

Phil Foden 7 – Looked vibrant on the left. Full of running and attacking intentions.

Riyad Mahrez 6 – Made little impression through the middle. Better if it drifted wide.

Kevin De Bruyne 7.5 – At the heart of City’s best moves. Shook the pole with a great shot.

Kevin De Bruyne took center stage in City’s best moves and had another impressive evening

Subs: Walker, Gabriel Jesus, Aguero, Rodri (for Mahrez 79, 6), Mendy, Nmecha, Harwood-Bellis, Mbete, Trafford.

Pep Guardiola 8 – Went for it from the start and deserves to be in his fourth final in a row.
